27: Clause 15, page 9, line 15, at end insert—
“(3A) A Minister of the Crown may not exercise the power conferred by subsection (2) before full consultations have been conducted on any proposed changes with—
(a) the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
(b) the Confederation of British Industry Northern Ireland,
(c) the Federation of Small Businesses Northern Ireland,
(d) Trade NI, and
(e) any other persons whom the Minister considers appropriate as representatives of business, trade and economic interests in Northern Ireland,
and the Minister has published the outcome of such consultations.”

This amendment requires a Minister to consult with a number of trade and industry bodies in Northern Ireland before using the powers in subsection (2) of Clause 15 in relation to excluded provision.
