Discrimination in Sport

Opposition day on Wednesday, 12 June 2019, in the House of Commons, led by Rosena Allin-Khan. The answering member was Jeremy Wright.
Unallotted opposition day debate. Motion that this House notes with concern that levels of discrimination across sport remain unacceptable; considers that a combination of tougher sanctions against offenders, action by social media companies and better education are key to driving discrimination out of sport; and calls on the Government to hold social media companies to account on this issue. Agreed to on question.
