Is not the answer to my right hon. and learned Friend the Member for Rushcliffe’s question that the rights might not be replicated in our existing law but the protections will be? The fact that a general statement of a right is not replicated verbatim in our law does not mean that those rights are not otherwise protected adequately and fully by our laws.
