European Union (Withdrawal) Bill

It might well be the case that Parliament could salvage many of the protections over time and put them on our statute, but the Bill seeks to delete the

charter of fundamental rights from the point that the legislation is enacted. In other words, it would take away rights that we hope may eventually be replaced, but there are none of the guarantees that we currently enjoy by virtue of our membership of the charter.
