Justice and Home Affairs Opt-out

Proceeding contribution from John Redwood (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 7 April 2014. It occurred during Debate on Justice and Home Affairs Opt-out.

I thank the right hon. Gentleman for the work that he is doing. Like him, I think that it is fundamental that the House has a vote on the European arrest warrant. It is a very flawed device. My big worry is that this House has to be the fount of our liberties and our criminal justice, not a foreign court.
