No. The Bill has been changed because the Government have been listening carefully. We have acted on the NHS Future Forum's recommendations. Our goals are clear in this Bill: they are to place patients at its heart, ensure that the service is clinically led and ensure that it is focused on driving up quality and outcomes. Question put and agreed to. New clause 1 accordingly read a Second time, and added to the Bill. Proceedings interrupted (Programme Order, 6 September). Madam Deputy Speaker put forthwith the Questions necessary for the disposal of the business to be concluded at that time (Standing Order No. 83E).
