I really do not want the noble Earl, Lord Ferrers, who clearly has not read the Conservative slogan for change. It is going to come as a great shock to him; indeed, it could almost be fatal when he sees the first posters. The noble Earl is no longer speaking for the Official Opposition, which is stopping these two clauses being included in the Bill.
I will say this about the noble Earl, Lord Ferrers. Just when I am getting really sleepy and thinking, "It’s about time we pack it in", he intervenes and the old adrenaline comes in, so I think we could well go on until dawn.
