My hon. Friend raises a point that I was going to come to in a minute. In response to a written question from the hon. Member for Bolton, South-East (Dr. Iddon) in March, the Minister said:""The Government will publish a consultation document this summer. Taking into account the findings of the report, we will be seeking views on possible changes to street trading and pedlar legislation, and on draft guidance on the current regime.""
That answer was given in response to a question about when the Minister would""start his consultation on the findings of the Street Trading and Pedlary in Great Britain report".—[Official Report, 30 March 2009; Vol. 490, c. 913W.]"
