Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Bill [HL]

The Minister is very persuasive, but on perhaps a slightly different point from the ones I was raising. I am trying to see whether some of this wording has been picked up from the 2004 Act. I am not sufficiently quick to be able to do so, but I will follow the references that she has made. Of course we are with her on the importance of consultation and involvement. Whether what she says and the papers that the Government will produce will be enough to meet these points I am not immediately sure, but for the moment I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 178A withdrawn. Amendments 179 to 180B not moved. Clause 72 agreed. Clause 73 : Reserve powers of Secretary of State Amendments 180C and 180D not moved. Clause 73 agreed. Clause 74 : Revision: supplementary Amendment 180E not moved. Clause 74 agreed.
