Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill

I wonder whether this is the time for the Secretary of State to share with the House whether he believes that the university of Durham was right to say that official statistics overstate the improvement in educational performance in recent years. Does he believe that Professor Peter Williams, chair of the advisory committee on mathematics education, is right? He said:"““over 20 or 30 years, I don't think there is any doubt whatsoever that absolute A-level standards have fallen””." Is the Secretary of State trying to set up an independent Ofqual today because he accepts those points?
