Has it occurred to the right hon. and learned Gentleman that the pressures from the European Commission and the Commissioner might be considerably greater if amendment No. 14 was carried, with its wording:"““setting out the strategic objectives for the business as determined by the Treasury””?"
Does he not think that those words in themselves would bring the European Commission down on the Government?
