Statistics and Registration Service Bill

I am grateful to the Minister. The amendment was tabled to have a discussion about how appointments would work. I am grateful to the Minister for saying that the OCPA guidelines would be applied. Those guidelines were most ably described by the noble Lord, Lord Turnbull, who knows all about these things. That is clearly very important and we are grateful for that confirmation. If the Minister would provide details of what the Government plan to do in the early round of appointments, it would be most helpful. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 4 agreed to. Clause 5 [Executive members and other staff]: [Amendment No. 29 not moved.]
