Justice and Security (Northern Ireland) Bill

I am most grateful for the Minister’s very clear explanation. Of course, it is absolutely right that the Assembly will choose the model it wants. I recognise that this is the last resort and a temporary measure. Perhaps I may stretch the Committee’s patience for a second. This will be the last time I will speak before what I hope will be the successful outcome on the 26th, and I take this opportunity to wish everyone from all communities in Northern Ireland well for the future. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Schedule 5 agreed to. Clauses 43 to 46 agreed to. Schedule 6 agreed to. Clause 47 agreed to. [Amendment No. 49 not moved.]
