Pensions Bill

Proceeding contribution from David Laws (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 16 January 2007. It occurred during Debate on bills on Pensions Bill.
Let me test the extent of the consensus on the Labour Front Bench. Earlier, the Secretary of State said that the vast majority of people who opted for personal accounts would gain £2 for every £1 that they put in. That appeared to contradict the Department’s report. Does the Minister stand unambiguously behind the Secretary of State’s every word?
