Justice and Security (Northern Ireland) Bill

The hon. Gentleman has referred to the Secretary of State’s comments about a possible risk to, or compromise of, national security in respect of whether or not a trial goes to a jury. Does the hon. Gentleman recognise that the conditions for issuing the certificate are set out in clause 1(3) to (6) and that nowhere do those conditions refer to issues of national security, and nor is the issue of national security referred to in clause 1(2), which deals with"““a risk that the administration of justice might be impaired””?"
