The Lords amendments are designed to clarify and simplify certain offences. None of them has any substantive effect on the overall scope of the clauses affected. Nothing will become an offence that is not already an offence under the Bill as it stands. The Lords amendments are designed solely to avoid practical difficulties for prosecutors and commanding officers and to simplify the Bill. Lords amendment agreed to. Lords amendments Nos. 8 to 15 agreed to.
