I am grateful to my noble friend for allowing me to intervene once more before he withdraws the amendment, I thank the Minister for producing the statutory instrument, which has proved very helpful. If the regulation comes into force as it is, will the Government consider the possibility of microchipping and thus identifying the dog at the same time as it is docked? I do not think it is covered in the statutory instrument, but I understand that it is possible so to do. It seems logical to identify the dog at the same point.
