I am most grateful to the Minister for setting out at some length additional laws that have come into operation and for explaining his attitude to the amendment. I was a little confused whether his main argument was that the amendment was unnecessary or that it was too narrow because it dealt only with the matter of persistently selling alcohol to children. My noble friend Lord Brooke and I will look at Hansard and see whether there is anything further that we ought to do, but I am most grateful to the Minister for his explanation.
On Question, amendment agreed to.
[Amendment No. 108 not moved.]
