Of course we are talking about the gap between rich and poor and we take that seriously. Surely the hon. Gentleman should take seriously the Prime Minister’s statement on the matter. In a ““Newsnight”” interview in 2001, he said:"““Surely the important thing is to level up those people who don’t have opportunity in our society.””" Perhaps the problem that we are revealing today is the gap between the hon. Gentleman and the Prime Minister.
