Those are cheers. I am in favour of the additional member system, although I have been elected six times by means of the ““first past the post”” system, with a swing towards the SNP at every election. On the last four occasions, I was elected by an absolute majority of the votes cast. I make that point because I think that people who start talking about electoral losers in list systems should start to look at the strength of their own political mandates. I am glad to see present in the Chamber the ringleader of those who want to foist the gerrymandering that is happening in Wales on Scotland. The new hon. Member for Livingston (Mr. Devine) has been in the House a matter of—oh—10 weeks, and with that enormous parliamentary experience has chosen not to represent his constituents who are desperately worried about the withdrawal of fire services—
