Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Bill

I support Amendment No. 7 and what the noble Baroness, Lady Turner, said. I welcome the news that such children are almost certainly to be exempt from the loss of a right to an appeal. We may all agree that they have experienced enough disruption in their lives, as the noble Baroness, Lady Turner, indicated, and I hope that it will be made clear in the Bill that they will be exempt. The Government were considering returning some unaccompanied children to, I think, Albania. There was some discussion of a pilot scheme last year to achieve that. In those circumstances, an assurance from the Government would be welcome.
