I join the noble Lord’s acknowledgement of the contributions of the various lobby groups. Before going further, I must declare an interest as a director and controlling shareholder of a company that holds a consumer credit licence. Amendments Nos. 1 to 6 were tabled in the name of my honourable friend the Member for Wealden in the other place, and we will be most interested to hear what the Minister has to say, especially on the risk of loss of business overseas, and whether he accepts the amendments.
