Commons Bill [HL]

Proceeding contribution from Baroness Byford (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 2 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bills and Committee proceeding on Commons Bill [HL].
I know that it is late, so I will not press the matter. Perhaps the Minister and his team can look at it again before we return on Report. I am saying that the CROW Act gives people rights to enjoy freedoms in a way that could jeopardise what I call the preservation and conservation of wildlife. If the new Act contains Amendment No. 142A, which the noble Lord has put forward,"““(a) the management of agricultural activities on the land for which the association has established””," its success very much depends on how the balance between the two Acts works. That is the point I was trying to make.
