We welcome the Government’s attempt to clarify the commissioner’s powers in respect of cross-border issues with the amendments to Clauses 6, 8, 9, 17 and 20. We agree that the commissioner’s remit should include the actions of the placing body but would still like to highlight the calls from various lobby groups that say they would like to take the issue further.
