Terrorism Bill

Proceeding contribution from David Davis (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 9 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bills on Terrorism Bill.
I said that I would not give way to the hon. Gentleman. If he has a problem with the word ““not””, I will help him later. The Bill will be counter-productive and ineffective. Far from being tough on terror, it might turn out to be a gift to the terrorists. That is why we cannot support it today.
