Racial and Religious Hatred Bill

Proceeding contribution from Lord Skidelsky (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 11 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bills on Racial and Religious Hatred Bill.
My Lords, I wish it were in order, because I was about to argue that the Government seem to have forgotten their own Crime and Disorder Act 1998, as amended by the Anti-Terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001, which made racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress an indictable offence.
