At the moment, the Equal Opportunities Commission cannot share information with the Commission for Racial Equality because of the restrictions on the disclosure of information relating to investigations. Will the Minister and her advisers consider the problem of the transfer of information between the new commission and the Office of Fair Trading? The restrictions on disclosure have to marry with the notion of partnership or co-operative relationship.
