Surveillance Camera Code of Practice

Debate on Wednesday, 2 February 2022, in the House of Lords, led by Lord Clement-Jones. The answering member was Baroness Williams of Trafford.
Lords motion to regret the Surveillance Code of Practice because (1) it does not constitute a legitimate legal or ethical framework for the police's use of facial recognition technology, and (2) it is incompatible with human rights requirements surrounding such technology. Motion withdrawn
