Elections Bill (Instruction)

Debate on bills on Monday, 20 September 2021, in the House of Commons, led by Christopher Pincher. The answering member was Cat Smith.
Motion that it be an instruction to the Elections Bill Committee that it has power to make provision in the Bill about the use of the simple majority voting system in elections for the return of (a) the Mayor of London; (b) an elected mayor of a local authority in England; (c) a mayor of a combined authority area; and (d) a police and crime commissioner. Agreed to on division (309 to 186).
