The following is an extract from a Westminster Hall debate on Nurseries and Early Years Settings on Thursday 3 December 2020.

Currently, at least 80% of early years settings are open, and attendance has been consistently

increasing during the autumn term. We estimate that, last week, 826,000 children attended an early years setting.
