Motion to disagree to Lords amendment 96 agreed to on division (motion certified as relating exclusively to England and Wales): all Members (297 to 202), and Members representing qualifying constituencies (England and Wales), (290 to 195). Lords amendment 96 accordingly disagreed to. Lords amendment 134 disagreed to, with Government amendment (a) made in lieu (motions certified as relating exclusively to England and Wales). Motion to disagree to Lords amendment 136 agreed to on division (motion certified as relating exclusively to England and Wales): all Members (289 to 193), and Members representing qualifying constituencies (England and Wales), (289 to 193). Lords amendment 136 accordingly disagreed to. Lords amendments 137 to 142, 159, 302 and 307 disagreed to (motions relating to Lords amendments 137 to 141 certified as relating exclusively to England and Wales). Lords amendment 305 disagreed to, with Government amendment (a) made in lieu. Motion to agree to Lords amendment 1 (discussed with Lords amendments 2 to 23, 25 to 95, 97 to 133, 135, 143 to 158, 160 to 301, 303, 304 and 306). All agreed to on question (motions relating to Lords amendments 1 to 3, 5 to 23, 95, and 170 to 235 certified as relating exclusively to England, motions relating to Lords amendments 25 to 29, 34 to 42, 47 to 50, 52, 94114 and 115, 117 and 118, 135, 239 and 240, 243 to 286, and 299 certified as relating exclusively to England and Wales, and motion relating to Lords amendment 4 certified as relating to both England and England and Wales). Title amended. Motion that a Committee be appointed to draw up Reasons to be assigned to the Lords for disagreeing to their amendments. Agreed to on question. Committee reported Reasons and these were agreed to. Message to the Lords to communicate said Reasons with the Bill.
