Consideration of Lords message. Deputy Speaker announced that Lords amendment 87B involves financial privilege. Disagreement to Lords amendment 84 insisted on. Commons amendment 84A in lieu not insisted on but amendment (a) in lieu proposed. Commons amendment 85B not insisted on, and Lords amendment 85C as amended by amendments (a) to (f) agreed to on division (296 votes to 258). Lords amendment 87B in lieu agreed to, with Commons financial privilege waived.
