Immigration Bill

Proceeding contribution from Michael Ellis (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 30 January 2014. It occurred during Debate on bills on Immigration Bill.

And of course of the Scottish nationalists, who are adopting their usual posture. Is it not correct that this law was effectively on the statute book previously,

so it cannot be all that exceptionable and that it was repealed by the Labour party because, in 1997, it wanted to sign us up to another European convention?
