Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the National Audit Office report on the Department's work on skills, entitled Developing workforce skills for a strong economy, published in July 2022, whether she will set out in a table the value of the Further Education Skills Index for each of the last 20 years.

The latest Skills Index publication includes data from the 2012/13 academic year to latest 2021/22. More information can be found here: https://explore-education-statistics.service.gov.uk/find-statistics/further-education-skills-index#releaseHeadlines-charts.

The information prior to 2012/13 is not readily available and could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
