Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the report of the Committee of Public Accounts, Optimising the Defence Estate, HC 179, published on 12 October 2021, what his Department spent on the Defence Estate in 2022-23; and what his Department plans to spend on the Defence Estate in 2023-24.

Answer

The Annual Reports and Accounts for Financial Year (FY) 2022-23 are currently being finalised and will be published later this year.

The planned MOD infrastructure spend for FY 2023-24 is £4.2 billion.
