Statement of Changes in Immigration Rules

Debate on Tuesday, 6 April 2010, in the House of Lords, led by Lord Avebury. The answering member was Lord West of Spithead.
Lords debate on motion to resolve that this House regrets that Her Majesty's Government have laid before Parliament the Statement of Changes in Immigration Rules without providing an impact assessment or full consultation responses and notes with concern the risk that Parliament may lack the ability to assess the significance of the concerns that have been expressed by the education sector about the policy changes made in the rules. Motion withdrawn.
