Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures Bill

I appreciate the hon. Lady's clarification of the official Opposition's stance. I have given the House clear assurances about the preparations for the transfer from control orders to TPIMs and we will reflect on the debate further, but we believe that the Government's amendments for the review are appropriate, and, on the basis of the assurances we have received, we do not believe that the Opposition amendments are required. Even at this stage, I ask the hon. Lady to reflect on the debate and to consider withdrawing those amendments. Question put and agreed to. New clause 3 accordingly read a Second time, and added to the Bill.
