My Lords, I have every sympathy with the intention of Amendment 63A, which seeks to refine Amendment 63, so I am grateful for the noble Lord’s comments. We want to ensure that there is a post office within reasonable access of everyone in the country. That is absolutely this Government’s policy. As I said earlier, I can reassure noble Lords that access points in this instance includes post offices. The amendment is therefore not needed, as the noble Lord has acknowledged, so I hope that he feels that he has sufficient reassurances to withdraw the amendment.
