Localism Bill

Proceeding contribution from George Hollingbery (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 17 January 2011. It occurred during Debate on bills on Localism Bill.
I do not think I shall, as I have been asked to be extremely rapid. Tenure reform was essential, and I believe that a change to a potential 80% of market rent in social housing is also very sensible for the simple reason that it is about recycling assets. It is about building more social housing; getting more income from people means more social housing being built in the future. That must be welcomed.
