Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill

The hon. Lady will have to be a little bit patient and not just stand there, but ask and then wait until I give way. The country would like to see a reduction in the number of Members of Parliament in this House. We have tried to strike a balance between what is achievable and sensible in terms of the operation of Members of Parliament and what is desirable in finally turning the corner in terms of the ever-increasing size of the membership of the Chamber.
