Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill

I think it is more the case that we copied across to the Bill a lot of the existing rules. This is a minor, technical change, but on going through the rules more closely, we decided that the provision was no longer necessary. We are simply tidying up the legislation, which I think is perfectly sensible. These are, as my right hon. Friend the Leader of the House often says, running repairs. Amendment 267 agreed to. Amendment made: 170, in schedule 2, page 27, line 33, leave out 'education'.—(Mr Harper.)
