No. May I commend to the Secretary of State the words of his hon. Friend the Member for Glasgow, South (Mr. Harris)? On his blog of 19 November, he said,"““you know the best way of electing a Labour government? Not through messy, sordid little deals with the minor parties, but by winning more votes than the Tories. That's how they stayed in power for most of the last century—by beating us in elections; by offering the electorate policies that were more popular than ours.””" Clearly, the Prime Minister has given up on that strategy, but we should not be too surprised. The hon. Gentleman went on to say that"““we simply reinforce the notion…that we have nothing to offer the voters but electoral calculations.””"
