Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [Lords]

I am sure that the hon. Gentleman agrees; he is nodding his assent. I am grateful to him for that. I believe that I have answered all the specific questions that were raised. Some of the debate was more general, but I hope that I have satisfied right hon. and hon. Members that we have considered the points that were made. I therefore ask the House to oppose the amendments that hon. Members have tabled, and to support the Government new clause. Question put and agreed to. New clause 2 accordingly read a Second time, and added to the Bill.
