Clause 9: Direct payments for health care Amendment 50 50: Clause 9, page 6, line 18, at end insert— "( ) Where a patient lacks capacity to consent to a direct payment, and has not nominated a person, a direct payment can be made to a suitable person, as specified in regulations."
