I will not answer that question, which is a thesis point, in any depth, mainly because I never said what he claims I said. My hon. Friend the Member for Mid-Bedfordshire (Mrs. Dorries) may have had a point when she said that perhaps the Government wanted to avoid a debate on abortion today because of the by-election on Thursday. We can only speculate.
