I readily agree that the overall book has increased substantially, which means that all categories of loan have increased. My point is that the risk of the book has increased significantly over the year—and this is the book that the Chancellor keeps telling us is of very high quality. The least-high-quality lending has risen by nearly £2.5 billion, and that is the part that is most at risk, not least given what is happening in our present housing-market environment.
