National Lottery

Proceeding contribution from Lord Field of Birkenhead (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 15 January 2008. It occurred during Legislative debate on National Lottery.

Should events not turn out as he plans, might he remind those who come back with a begging bowl that while his Department ensured that the Olympics has in excess of £9 billion, it found only £5 million for Liverpool as city of culture?
