I support the amendments with the same caveats about confirmation hearings. When we debated the matter in Committee, we were keen to see an extension to the range of people who could be subject to confirmation hearings. That has not been the case but we support these individual amendments. Lords amendment agreed to. Lords amendments Nos. 33 and 34 agreed to.
