UK Borders Bill

I am most grateful. On the criminal justice and immigration measure that is coming down the track, which the noble Lord said he was not sure would be included, there are precedents for consolidation of legislation which is in progress at the time of the consolidation measure. Therefore, I very much hope that when we start out with the new consolidation measure we will not be faced with a remaining Act that not been consolidated. I am grateful for what the noble Lord said. Meanwhile, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 58 agreed to. Clause 59 [Extent]: On Question, Whether Clause 59 shall stand part of the Bill?
