Sustainable Communities Bill

I refer the hon. Gentleman to paragraph 1(l) of the schedule, which clearly refers to"““planning policies which would assist with the purposes of this Act, including new arrangements for the provision of affordable housing””." Indeed, that was an amendment that I was pleased to move in Committee, so the argument is made regarding sustainability of settlement and what can be achieved through this Bill. I therefore do not know why the hon. Gentleman has chosen to go on at such great length about regional assemblies at this point.
